Cristina Vasiu

Born in Hunedoara on april 19th, Cristina Vasiu is a beautiful and talented Romanian singer. Her talent was discovered by her kindergarten teacher.

She studied canto at 7 and, in the same time she starts violin lessons. Her first stage appearance was during a famous TV Show  – Tip, Top, Minitop.

During her teenage years she starts participating to the national and international music festivals being considered one of the most talented singer of the new generation.

She also collaborates with Provincialii (2010 – for the album  “Ochi de catifea”) and  DJ Sava (2010 – for the single “2.2 Story”).

In 2011, becomes contestant of “The Voice of Romania” in Horia Brenciu’s team and performed, together with him, in the show “Fac ce-mi spune inima”.

In 2012 Cristina starts collaborating with many Romanian composers and she released two singles: “Love me” – composed and produced by Groove Box and “Fell Ya” – a collaboration with J. Yolo, single produced by  Full Boss Production and  DJ Sava.

“Nu pot uita” is her first video and first collaboration with Mihai Ristea, Alex Cotoi and Mika Moupondo, the composers of the song.

After the featuring with Mika Moupondo, Cristina fells in love with the Latino beats and releases “Vara se poarta single”, composed by Cristina, Adrian Verzila, Andrei Dan Deaconu, Daniel Costache and the lyric video is made by Dan Paraschiv.

At the beginning of 2015, Cristina decides to participate to the National Selection for Eurovision with the song “Nowhere”. At the beginning of summer, she collaborates with DiezZ for the single and video “Scurtmetraj”, a cinematographic story inspired by love. The main characters of the video are played by Cristina and DiezZ themselves.
